Business Development Manager

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Business Development Manager who will identify potential business opportunities in the market and support the growth and development of our young startup.

digitalize.berlin is a young startup based out of Berlin, one of the most vibrant and multicultural cities in all of Europe. Our vision and mission driving digitalize.berlin is to facilitate and accelerate the transition of our building sector to sustainable and energy-efficient digital infrastructure of the future. Our team has diverse expertise in Digital Twins and Building Information Modelling, along with several intriguing polarities and tangents in Architecture 3D-Modelling sphere. We are highly passionate and driven, just like any other startup, but we love to have a great fold of spontaneous fun and excitement as we are working with all our energy in our small team.

What we are looking for:

  • You have multiple years of experience in Business Development and Management.
  • You have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Economics, Management or similar.
  • Business communication is your strength, and have great negotiating and networking skills.
  • Working independently and in synergy with a team is not new to you, and you have excellent time management skills.
  • The AEC Industry is something you're already familiar with and understand the dynamics of this market.
  • You are willing to travel to throughout Europe to attend business meetings and conferences.
  • Furthermore, you are fluent in English and German, at native-efficiency level.

What we expect from you:

  • You can identify potential leads from the AEC industry and actively work on acquiring new partnerships and clients.
  • You can follow up existing leads and track the progress of potential projects while being able to generate new leads.
  • You can validate, pitch, and negotiate partnerships aligned with mutual goals and vision.
  • You can collaborate with legal, finance, tech, and marketing teams as required.
  • You will evaluate technical, financial, and legal aspects of potential acquisitions and partnerships.
